Product Care Guide
Short, practical routines for the three materials the collection is built from.
Four minutes, once a week
- Vacuum upholsterySoft brush attachment, over the whole seat and back.
- Dust woodA soft, dry cloth over every finished surface.
- Use coastersUnder anything hot or wet, every time.
- Lift, don't dragLift a piece to move it, so joints and floors both survive.
Fabric
Upholstery
Blot a spill straight away with a clean dry cloth. Do not rub it, which pushes the mark into the weave.
Spot clean with a barely damp cloth and a mild fabric-safe detergent, tested on a hidden area first. Do not soak the fabric, and dry it away from direct heat.
Wood
Finished surfaces
Wipe with a soft dry or barely damp cloth, then dry the surface immediately. Clean spills before they sit.
Keep pieces out of prolonged direct sunlight, and away from radiators and air-conditioning outlets where very dry air can move the wood.
Hardware, and what to keep away
Drawers, doors and hardware
- Open and close gently.
- Do not load a drawer or shelf beyond what it holds.
- Check fixings every few months and tighten what has loosened.
Avoid
- Bleach, solvents, ammonia and abrasive cleaners.
- Steam cleaning, or saturating fabric with water.
- Direct heat: radiators, hot dishes, hairdryers.
- Silicone and wax polishes on finished wood.
- Sitting or standing on arms, edges or drawer fronts.
